My Sailing Directions into Morecambe Bay – Yacht Club Drying Moorings- for shallow draught bilge / triple keel yachts.

Coming from a Southerly Direction

Aim to be at Lune Deep Buoy (S Cardinal) 3hrs BHW.

Or Coming from a Northerly Direction

Aim to be at Lightning Knoll (RW Bell Buoy) 3 hrs BHW

Maintaining 5 knots through the water

Then head to position 54.01.84N 3.00.0W for Grange Channel Outer

Then to 54.03.30N 2.58.00W for Grange Channel Inner

Then toward Sewer Light Tower (Fl Gr ) at position 54.04.35N 2.53.83W which must be passed to starboard. Then toward the Stone Jetty (FGr 2 vert) which must be passed to starboard

Then towards M & H YC drying moorings at position 54.04.80N 2.51.36W.

To arrive at 1 - 0hr BHW watching for Stone Groyne Ends marked with green posts, moored boats & mooring marker buoys. If no moorings available anchor to East of the moorings in sand.
